We are taking on 100k in June to raise money for Day One Trauma Support! 🧡

Bond Turner’s client Lucie has been supported by Day One Trauma since her accident.

Lucy was the victim of a serious accident where a tractor dragged her along the road under its trailer.

Bond Turner and Lucie's solicitor James Tomlinson are dedicated to ensuring Lucie can continue to get the most out of life, despite her horrendous injuries.

Lucie recently featured in a BBC documentary which highlights the amazing work Day One do crediting her mental resilience to the support of Day One Trauma. It was Day One which helped Lucie understand the disability benefits she was entitled to, and the process that saw mum Sue become her full-time carer.

Lucie says that thanks to the charity's help, her goal now is to use her story to inspire others.

She says she wants to give people who find themselves in a similar position to herself a glimpse of what life can be like after a catastrophic event.

"I was given that support and, now, being able to give someone else that support means the world to me," she says.

Day One are the only national charity to provide personalised care to anyone affected by any kind of catastrophic injury, their loved ones and their families – for as long it takes.

They don’t receive any Government or NHS funding and rely on the kindness of people like you. Every donation, big or small, brings me one step closer to my fundraising target
