I am taking on 100k in June to raise money for Day One Trauma Support! 🧡
Day One are the only national charity to provide personalised care to anyone affected by any kind of catastrophic injury, their loved ones and their families – for as long it takes.
They don’t receive any Government or NHS funding and rely on the kindness of people like you. Every donation, big or small, brings me one step closer to my fundraising target

Why am I doing this?

I'm going to try and run 100k in June (which is notoriously a 30 day month and not 31…)
Why am I doing this?
To raise money for day one trauma support. They offer practical and emotional support to anyone who has experienced major trauma in the UK. More info here
Why should you donate?
- Depending on your persuasion, running 100k in a month is pretty demanding even if one commenter on Reddit said "it was nothing to brag about". I would need to average 25k a week. I'm not a runner but I do run on the occasion. However the last time I ran a 10k was 4 years ago, and my 5k is around the average for my age - so as average is deffo nothing to brag about, hopefully this is proof that this will be really challenging for me and is worthy of a donation!
- I have a fundraising goal of £300, so while it's a small goal, if I reach it, then supporting such a great cause might be something worth bragging about ;)
